With PolyX Breaker™, Gatorskin's expertise in automotive tires extends to the bicycle tire sector. Polyester has been successfully used for years in automotive tires and has proven to be extremely effective. The extremely durable polyester fiber is tightly woven in a cross pattern. A very high weave density is achieved, making the casing resistant not only to foreign bodies, but especially to punctures.

Rolling resistance is not compromised by this protection.

Tires with DuraSkin® sidewall protection withstand the harshest conditions, as they are designed for the harshest conditions.

On rough terrain, on a cyclocross or gravel bike; On urban bikes where the tires rub against curbs; on road bikes crossing continents, encountering different road qualities; and on the track, where they prove their worth in endurance events like Paris-Roubaix.
